Margaret Ann Lopez

Margaret, better known as Maggie to her friends, was born June 1, 1953, in Jersey City, NJ, before moving to Old Bridge NJ as a teenager and graduated from Madison Township High School in Old Bridge Township In 1972. After leaving NJ in 1981, Margaret lived in Florida and Arizona, working as a customer service rep for AT&T, before finding her forever home in Texas, with her beloved husband, Daniel Lopez.

Margaret is survived by her brother, Louis Servedio, Mannheim, Germany, her brother in law, Ronald Mehlhorn Sr., nephew and godson, Ronald Mehlhorn Jr. (Gina), her niece, Andrea Mehlhorn-Marshall (Marvin) and her great niece and biggest joy, Grace Helen Mehlhorn-Marshall, as well as several great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins home in NJ, and her very dear friends Teresa Hense and Karen James, as well as her best friend of 50 years, Margaret “Jinx” Nelson. She is preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Lopez, her parents, Joseph and June Servedio, her sister, Grace Mehlhorn, and her brother, Phillip Servedio.

Margaret’s wish was to be laid to rest at sea, so her ashes will be spread at the Jersey Shore privately at a later date. Final arrangements are being handled by Sparkman Funeral Home, Richardson, TX.
