Patricia Doranne Hansen

Patricia grew up in Sioux Falls where she graduated from Washington High School in 1964 and received her Bachelor’s degree from Augustana College. Patricia met Harold Hansen in South Dakota and they married in Columbia, South Carolina in 1975. Harold’s job moved them to Dallas in 1976 where they had and happily raised their sons Joshua George and Aaron John.

Patricia was outgoing, kind, and humorous which made it easy for her to make connections with people and develop personal relationships. She was part of the St. Joseph’s Women’s Guild and Altrusa Professional Women’s Club. Patricia loved shopping and had a love of decorating her home. She enjoyed being a grandmother and doted on her grandchildren.

Patricia is survived by her husband Harold, her sons Joshua (Rachel) and Aaron (JaLynne), and her grandchildren Jocelyn, Bryant, Gwendolyn, Duvall, and Sebastian.

A Visitation and Rosary will be held on Thursday, August 25 from 7-9 pm in Sparkman Funeral Home, 1029 S. Greenville Ave, Richardson, TX, 75081. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 26 at 10:30 am in St. Joseph Catholic Church, 600 S. Jupiter Road, Richardson, TX 75081.
