Roy Lee Peters

born September 9, 1943, in Mineola, Texas, to the late Ava Ruth Belcher. He was a world-renowned

master hair colorist and instructor for Redken for 30 years and later for Keune. Roy had a passion

for teaching and was an artful storyteller. He travelled the globe for his work and impacted

countless lives through his craft.

He is preceded in death by his mother, his dear Aunt Majie, and many other aunts, uncles and

cousins.

Survivors include his nieces, Ginger Roper (Joel) of Plano, Texas, and Tammy Ridgway (Adam Gelfe)

of Melbourne, Australia, Elisabeth Russom of Orlando, Florida, and Christina Mares (Nick) of

Orlando, Florida, and numerous great-nieces and nephews, and one great-great-nephew.

Roy had a small biological family, but he truly considered his many close friends to be his family.

Roy was a very private man and did not wish for a funeral or memorial service.
