Born April 2, 1923 in Bokchito,Ok.,Tom grew up in Barry TX, ten miles from Corsicana TX. He attended Navarro Jr. College and Baylor University. He worked for Kodak for forty years as a Marketing Representative. He and Rosemary were members of the Royal Lane Baptist Church in Dallas. Tom served in the 450th Bomb Group as a waist gunner on a B-24 in Manduria, Italy during WWII. He was shot down behind enemy lines but was safely recovered by the Red Cross. He loved to go to the 450th Bomb group reunions with his son, John. Tom was a beloved son, husband, father and brother. He had a warm, wonderful personality and he always put his family first. Tom is survived by his wife of 63 years, Rosemary Mays Lynch; daughter, Cynthia Lynch and son, John Lynch. Also survived by his sister, Martha Greenstein McEwin; sister-in-law, Virginia Lynch; nieces, Mary Meyers, Gail Lynch and grand-nieces, Beth Veltrop and Rebecca Greenstein. Service for Mr. Lynch will be held graveside on Sunday, July 21, at 2:00pm at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Dallas. A reception will follow at the home of Tom and Rosemary.
