A funeral service will be held at 3:30pm, Sunday, April 29, 2018 at Johnson Funeral Home, Jacksonville with Rev. Brent Penny officiating. Burial will follow at the Davis Family Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Clara “Kathy” Melton of the home. One son, Bobby Ray Melton, and wife Leann and one daughter, Judy Futrell and husband Robert all Richlands. Brothers, Haywood Melton of Jacksonville , and James Melton and wife Pam of Richlands and sister, Kathlene Batchelor of Richlands.
The family will receive friends Sunday, one hour prior to the service, 2:30pm-3:30pm, at the funeral home in Jacksonville.
