Haywood Melton

Mr. Haywood Melton Sr., 75 of Richlands, NC died February 7, 2020 at his home. Mr. Melton was the son of the late Caris Melton and Rovena Petteway Melton. Mr. Melton is survived by his daughter, Deborah Raynor; two sons, Haywood Melton Jr. and Darrell Melton; one brother, James Melton and wife Pam Melton and one sister, Kathleen Batchelor. Four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Mr. Melton is preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday February 11, 2020 at 11:00am at Johnson Funeral Home in Richlands, NC., officiated by Rev. Sammy Boone. The family will receive family and friends from 10:00am until 11:00am prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in the New Jasper Family Cemetery located at 159 Henry Lane Rd., Richlands, NC.
