Ms. Marcia Lynn Boyd, age 73, of Richmond, CA passed away on Monday, May 2, 2022. The California native was born on January 31, 1949, in Martinez, CA. She was the first of three children born to Frank and Rosie Lee Stevenson. Marcia attended Verde Elementary, Downer, Jr. High, and Gompers High School in Richmond, CA.
As a teen, Marcia became an excellent seamstress and could whip up anything, from a vision. She also loved to cook, spend time with her grandkids, ad a whole lotta shopping. She had a very giving heart.
Marcia worked at Summit Hospital in Oakland, ca for 28 years. She was loved by those she came into contact with. Her co-workers loved her. Her honesty was like no other. There was never a doubt about what she felt about you, it was either going to show on her face, or she was going to let you know.
She departed this life on May 2, 2022, and was preceded in death by her parents, and daughters Monica Williams and Jacqueline Wilson.
To celebrate her life Marcia leaves a daughter Tamika McCullough, son Larry McCullough, grandchildren Roscoe Duncan, Elijah Porter, Shaylah McCullough, Da'Vion Thomas, Da'Brianna Thomas; two great-grandchildren, DeAndre, and Andrea Duncan; sisters, Tora Stevenson and Terry Stevenson; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and acquaintances.
The Public Viewing for Ms. Boyd will be on Thursday, May 19, 2022, from 1 PM until 5 PM at Fuller Funerals, 3100 Cutting Blvd in Richmond, CA. The Celebration of her life will take place on Friday, May 20, 2022, at 11 AM also, at Fuller Funerals.
