Margaret (Peggy) Crowley died on August 3, 2011, of cancer at the age of 87. Peggy was born in London, England, where she worked for the New Zealand Air Force during WWII. She immigrated to Novato and met her late husband, John. She lived in Novato for 59 years where she worked for the Novato School District and Novato Ecumenical Homes. Peggy enjoyed gardening, bird watching, reading, and her dog. She was a quiet woman who dearly loved her son John, daughter Evelyn, son Jim and their families. Her greatest joy was visiting with them and their spouses Jeanette, Keith and Gabriella, and her grandchildren John, Joseph, Abigail, and Prisco. She leaves a brother, the Rev. Hugh Kember, and sister, Muriel Putnam, and their families living in England.
