

He was born on July 20, 1945 in Framingham, Massachusetts and grew up in Upton, Massachusetts. He was a 1966 graduate of Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts with a BS Degree in Business Management. He served his country as a member of the US Army during the Vietnam War and was stationed in Korea. He was employed at Carpenter Company for 38 years and retired in 2007 as a Senior Vice President.
Bruce was an avid golfer; loved watching the Red Sox, Patriots, and the Celtics; and particularly loved spending half the year at his cottage at Cape Cod. He enjoyed having time to read daily after he retired. He was a family man who enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Julie; son Kevin (Jodi) of Richmond; son Jeff (Leah) of Richmond; his three grandchildren, Carter, Bryn, and Derek Donham, all of Richmond; and brother, James (Susan) of Hilton Head Island, SC
A service in celebration of Bruce’s life will be held on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at 12:00 PM at Third Presbyterian Church, 600 Forest Avenue, Richmond, Virginia 23229. There will be a reception of family and friends immediately after the service at Hermitage Country Club, located at 1248 Hermitage Road, Manakin-Sabot, VA 23103
