Caley Dale "Flip" Pittman

PITTMAN, Caley Dale "Flip", 67, of Roanoke, Virginia went to be with his Lord Jesus Christ on May 20, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, Holman J. Pittman Jr. and Mavis A. Pittman; and is survived by his children, Renee Hatcher and Chris Pittman; and four grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Sandra P. Boyd and brother, Kenneth J. Pittman. In addition, he is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews, whom he loved.

Flip proudly served in the U.S.Army after high school and was a Vietnam veteran. He graduated from Southeastern Bible College and became an Assemblies of God Pastor. After recovering from life threatening brain surgery, he was employed in the security field for most of his adult life. His goal through his many hardships was always to make others smile. To him no one was a stranger and he tried to befriend all. He loved his Lord, family, friends, and country. Most of all he is indebted to his very best friend, Jackie Martin RN, DNP, who helped him in many ways and for many years.

A visitation for family and friends will be held at Woody Funeral Home Parham Chapel 1771 N Parham road from 12 pm to 2 pm with a service to follow at 2 pm on Wednesday May 25, 2016.

A private interment will be held for family at later time in Westhampton Memorial Park.
