87, passed away on January 31, 2021. She was born on February 26, 1933, in Louisville, Ky. She was preceded in death by her husband, William L. Alley III. She is survived by her son, Rogers William Alley (Harriet) of Birmingham, Ala.; her granddaughter, Ann Clayton Alley of Birmingham, Ala.; her brother, Rogers Hunt (Marlene Pennington) of Louisville, Ky.; her niece, Beth Holsapple (Neil) of Richmond; her niece, Cathy Clifton of Richmond; her nephew, David Hunt of Louisville, Ky. She moved to Richmond in 1957 to work for the Foreign Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention. Later, she was a librarian for Henrico Public Schools. She was a member, as well as librarian, at Second Baptist Church for almost 50 years. A small, socially distanced interment will be held in Westhampton Memorial Garden on February 13, 2021, at 2 p.m.
