Charles Ray Perkins

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Martha B. Perkins; his children, Chuck Perkins and wife, Marsha, Bobby Perkins, Johnny Perkins and wife, Terry, and Janet Turner and husband, Mike; grandchildren, Chip Perkins and wife, Ginny, Andy Perkins and wife, Emily, Sean Perkins, Nicole Sharp, Lauren Everett, Chris Perkins and fiancee, Lillie, and Lindsay Perkins; great-grandchildren, Nolan and Ashlyn Perkins, Lily Joy Perkins, Jonathan Sharp and Elizabeth Franck.

He was one of the founding members of Staples Mill Road Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, August 13, at the Parham Chapel of Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Road. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, August 14, at Staples Mill Road Baptist Church, 10101 Staples Mill Road, Glen Allen, Va. 23060-3217. Interment Greenwood Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Staples Mill Road Baptist Church Building Fund.
