Seal, Claude Wilson Jr., 79, went to be with his Lord on Sunday, May 5, 2019. He was predeceased by his parents, Claude and Josie Seal; and sister, Joyce Seal Huffman. Claude is survived by his wife of 60 years, Cynthia Joyner Seal; sons, Claude Wilson Seal III and Brian Keith Seal; daughter, Lori Ann Seal; grandchildren, Stephanie, Lauren, Christopher, Brian Keith Jr. and Grant White; and great-grandchildren, Robert and Ryan Seal; sister, Fran Seal Sparks; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Claude retired after a 38-year career at Virginia Department of Transportation in the Location and Design Division. He designed many sections of the interstate roads and interchanges throughout Virginia. He derived much pleasure from his involvement with many youth organizations which include Chamberlayne Little League, Boy and Girl Scouts, Y-Indian Guides and Henrico High School Band Boosters as a coach and as support leadership.
The family will receive friends at Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Rd., Richmond, Va. 23229 on Tuesday, May 7, from 5 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the Woody Parham Chapel on Wednesday, May 8, at 3 p.m. with visitation one hour prior. Interment will be private.
