Colwell, Clyde J., 100, of Richmond, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, March 25, 2012. He was preceded in death by his wife, Wauleska Giles Colwell. He is survived by a son, Wayland C. Colwell and his wife Debi, of Manakin-Sabot, Va.; two granddaughters, Ashley and Whitney Colwell. Mr. was a member of Melrose Masonic Lodge #139 AF&AM, Roanoke. He retired from the U.S. Navy, U.S. Post Office, and was a member of National Association of Letter Carriers, a former member of Oakland Baptist Church, Roanoke, and Mount Vernon Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Mount Vernon Baptist Church, 11220 Nuckols Rd., Glen Allen, Va. 23060.
