Born March 11, 1946, in Richmond, VA, he graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School, before enlisting in the U. S. Army as his career for life.
He was a member of the Manchester Moose Lodge #699, where was surrounded by a host of friends where he participated in dart throwing, dancing, and socializing.
He also was a member of the Manchester Masonic Lodge.
The family will receive friends at the Woody funeral home, Parham Chapel, 1771 N. Parham Rd., Richmond, VA on Tuesday September 8, 2015 from 6:00-8:00pm, the funeral will take place at the funeral home on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at 1:30pm, with interment following at Greenwood Memorial Park on Patterson Ave.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Society of Virginia.
