HULL, Delores "Dee" Agnes Henry, 91, passed away peacefully on February 19, 2019. Dee was born April 15, 1927, in Cheyenne, Wyo., the daughter of Nelson G. and Cecilia A. Henry. From an early age, Dee was adored by all who knew her. Dee was raised in Cheyenne and attended Cheyenne High School, where she was voted Homecoming Queen. She and her family were parishioners of St. Mark's Episcopal Church, which was the genesis of her lifetime devotion to the Episcopal Church. Some of Dee's fondest childhood memories were attending Cheyenne's Frontier Days with her older sister, Lou and her younger brother, Nels. Dee attended the University of Wyoming and was an active Pi Beta Phi. On December 30, 1950, Dee married Ronald "Ron" Hull, also of Cheyenne, Wyo. They moved to McCook, Neb., and started their own business, Hull Oil Company, a regional gasoline and oil distributor and operated 32 service stations. Summers were spent driving the children, Springer Spaniel, Rip and their horses, Buttermilk and Mr. Ed, to their cabin in Grand Lake, Colo. They moved to Houston, Texas in 1976, where they were both active in the community. Dee was an avid baker, gardener and a devoted member of the P.E.O. Sisterhood since 1962. She continued to be especially involved with the Episcopal Church. Entrepreneurs at heart, they mentored their children as they each started businesses of their own. After Ron passed in 2004, Dee moved to Westminster Canterbury in Richmond, Va. Dee enjoyed art and once again found her place as an active member in the community. She attended St. Stephen's Episcopal Church. In the following years, Dee met Bill Michaux, who would remain her close companion at Westminster, where they enjoyed attending theater and dinners with their friends. Dee was preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Lucille E. and Allen F. Learmonth of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. She is survived by her son, Ronald W. Hull II and his wife, Cynthia, of Sugarland, Texas; daughter, Susan Andreoletti and her husband, Peter, of Midlothian, Va.; and her brother, Nelson Henry and his wife, Rowene, of Lake Forest, Calif.; granddaughters, Natalie Andreoletti Miller and Ashley Hull Boyd; grandsons, Ronald W. Hull III and Steele Hull; along with five great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial service will be held Friday, March 8, 2019, at 2 p.m. in the Cochrane Commons at Westminster Canterbury, 1600 Westbrook Ave., Richmond. Dee will be laid to rest with her husband, Ron at the Houston National Cemetery in Houston, Texas. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dee's memory to the MD Anderson Cancer Center, Pediatric Research, P.O. Box 4486, Houston, Texas 77210-4486, https://gifts.mdanderson.org.
