Doris Hall McClammy

McClammy, Doris Hall, 96, a resident of Lakewood Manor in Henrico County joined her beloved husband, George E. McClammy in Heaven on July 31, 2014. She was predeceased by her sisters, Roenah H. Pitts and Joyce H. Bailey; and her brother, John W. Hall, Jr. Left to cherish her memory are daughter, Barbara M. Battaile (Vic); her son, G. Edward McClammy (Susan); grandson, Jonathan Battaile (Laura); granddaughter, Sarah McClammy; and great-granddaughters, Kacie and Molly Battaile. Also surviving are her dear nieces, nephews, and cousins. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her kind and loving ways. Doris had been active in several community and charity organizations over the years and was a longtime dedicated and faithful member of Lakeside Baptist Church. Her family would like to thank her friends and the staff at Lakewood Manor for their support and care. Visitation will be on Monday, August 4, 2014 from 2 to 4 p.m. and then from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Road, Henrico, VA 23229, where services will be held 12 p.m. on Tuesday, August 5, 2014. Interment will follow at Westhampton Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Lakewood Manor Benevolent Fund, 1900 Lauderdale Dr., Henrico, VA 23238 or Lakeside Baptist Church, 7401 Woodman Rd., Henrico, VA 23228.
