Eileen E Tyler

Eileen Eloise Tyler passed peacefully on Friday, December 3, 2021, in Henrico VA, at age 95. She is preceded in death by her beloved Mother, Mary Della Fowler, in 1994. Eileen is survived by her daughter, Mary W Barrett; granddaughter Jenifer Saufley, grandson-in-law Randall Saufley; grandson MSgt Jeffrey Barrett retired USMC, granddaughter-in-law Stephanie Barrett; and great-grandson Ethan Saufley. Eileen was born on April 27, 1926, to Mary and Edward Thomas in Washington DC, and later relocated to Richmond VA, where she met and married Richard G Waters. In her teen years, horseback riding in the Highland Park area of Henrico County with her friend Alma, was her passion. In the middle years of her long, full life, she became an avid dog lover. Caring for her Boxers and Pomeranian for many years kept her busy, along with her passion for her house and flowers in the yard. She was very creative and kept occupied with numerous hobbies and crafts. Receiving hand-made greeting cards made on her computer and elegantly personalized, printed, folded and sent to her friends and loved-ones was truly very special. Her essence will be missed by all who knew her. Funeral service will be held Friday afternoon, December 10, 2:00 p.m. at Woody Funeral Home Parham, followed by interment at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Henrico VA.
