Evelyn Maxine Hopkins

Evelyn Maxine Hopkins, 87, of Glen Allen, VA, passed away peacefully on August 28, 2021 surrounded by family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, William Nathan Hopkins, her parents Alexander and Elma Wood, six brothers, and two sisters. She is survived by her son, David Hopkins (Dena), daughter, Cathy Johnson (John); grandchildren, Shanna Winfree (Steve), Wesley Hopkins, Amy Schnexnayder (Steven), Caitlin Crowder (John), and Travis Hopkins; great grandchildren, Kathryn and Savanna Winfree; sister Janice Whiteside Beyerl (Frank); and many beloved nieces and nephews.

She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, reading and studying the Bible.

Visitation will be held Monday, September 6 from 5-8 pm and a funeral service on September 7 at 1 pm at Woody’s Funeral Home 1771 Parham Road Richmond VA. Interment will follow at Greenwood Memorial Park, 12609 Patterson Avenue, Richmond VA.
