Genevieve Mann Collier went to be with the Lord on February 21, 2018. She was the daughter of the late Reva and Irvin Mann. She was predeceased by her brother, Benjamin I. Mann. Genevieve is survived by her caring and loving husband of 75 years, Vernon L. Collier; daughters Beverly Woodard (Bob); Pat Collier (Ralph Branchaud); Barbara Collier; two grandchildren Alexandra Bartlett (Matt), Jacob Branchuad; and two great-grandchildren (Emmette Clare Bartlett and Thomas Grady Bartlett.) Genevieve was a lifelong member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She served as the Church Hostess there, and was actively involved in Sunday school, The United Methodist Women, youth activities, and women’s circle groups. Genevieve loved her family and friends, basketball, coaching, catering, and Lake Gaston. A family graveside service will be held Sunday February 25, 2018 at 2pm in Severn, North Carolina. There will be a memorial service to celebrate her life Monday February 26, 2018 at 2pm at Trinity United Methodist Church, 903 Forest Ave, Richmond VA, 23229. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The United Methodist Women at Trinity United Methodist Church.
