SMITH, George Moten, "Dickie," 74, went to be with his Lord on February 6, 2012. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Marilyn; daughter, Tina; and son, David and daughter-in-law, Loretta. Dickie was a loving husband and father who adored his family and friends and was always there to lend a hand or an ear to anyone in need. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at the Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Rd., where services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 8, 2012. Burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
