Geraldine [Gerri] F. Chiles, 85, widow of Alfred B. Chiles, Jr. passed away on January 22, 2012. She is survived by daughter Deanna Hamlin and husband David, son Doug Chiles and wife Marjorie, son Dennis Chiles and wife Mary, eight grandchildren and one great granddaughter. She is preceded in death by her son David Chiles. Gerri cherished the loving relationship of her sister-in-law Jean Burd. Gerri was a graduate of Johnston -Willis Hospital School of Nursing and retired from Henrico Doctors Hospital. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 5-7:30 at Woody Funeral Home Parham. Family graveside service Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Westhampton Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
