

Gisele Gray Hammonds, 69, passed away peacefully on October 7, 2025, in Henrico, Virginia. Born on March 8, 1956, in Glens Falls, New York, Gisele moved through life with a radiant heart and an open embrace for all who crossed her path.
Her spirit was vibrant and giving—marked by a boundless compassion that never waned. Whether offering a warm hug or a quiet ear, Gisele made others feel seen and cherished. Even during her time in hospice care, she continued to uplift those around her with her gentle affection and enduring positivity.
At the center of Gisele’s world was her family. She shared a devoted marriage with her husband, Glenn. Together they raised two daughters, Brittney and Miranda, who brought immense pride to her heart. Her joy only deepened with the arrival of her beloved granddaughters: Dahlia, Ava, and Lilith —each one treasured and doted upon with affection.
Gisele is also lovingly remembered by her sister Cathy and brother Bill. She held in memory her father Arthur, mother Gretchen, brothers David and Bob, and sister Linda.
To know Gisele was to feel the warmth of genuine kindness—a light that touched friends, family members, and caregivers alike. Her legacy endures in the hearts of those whose lives were brightened by her love.

A Memorial service will be held on October 20th at 11am, located at Woody funeral home- Parham chapel (1771 N Parham Rd Richmond, VA 23229) with reception to follow.
