Helen Mitchell Spradlin, born in Lynchburg, Va. on September 3, 1922 passed away October 8, 2017.
Preceded in death by her husband, James W. Spradlin, Jr.
She is survived by her sons, James W. Spradlin, III (Gayle) and Jerry Mitchell Spradlin (Rose) and daughter, Jennifer S. Doherty (James); nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
She loved her church family who were loyal to the end.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 12 noon, Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at Skipwith Baptist Church, 1900 Skipwith Rd. Richmond, Va. 23229, where a funeral will be held after at noon. Interment will be private.
