Jack L., 88, of Richmond, Va., passed away December 29, 2011. He was born in Illinois on November 9, 1923 to the late Aurielus and Frances Lofgren. He was a retired plant manager, can division, for Reynolds Metals. He was the widower of Betty Jean Lofgren. He is survived by his children, Lynn R. Lofgren and his wife Mila, Linda J. Lonie, and Jack R. Lofgren and his wife Cynthia; also 11 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one, great-great grandchild. A memorial service will be held Sunday, January 1, 2012 at 2 p.m. at the Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Rd. The family will receive friends after the service. Interment will be private at Greenwood Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Aldheimer's Society.
