Jerald "Jerry" Reed Mercer

MERCER, Jerald "Jerry" Reed, 64, of Richmond, VA. left this worldly life on Sunday, January 14, 2018. He was preceded in death by his father, Melvin Reed Mercer. He is survived by his mother, Lillian Mercer; partner, then "Bride" of 40 years, Beth Cassidy Mercer; their son, Reed Mercer; grandchild, Destiny Mercer and four siblings. Jerry was loved by all and considered many friends as family. A graduate of Louisburg College and realtor broker by trade, Jerry's real gift was his warmth, thoughtfulness and caring personality. He will be missed by all. A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 19, 2018 at 4pm at the Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Rd.
