John E. March, 61, of Temple, Ga., formerly of New Kent County, died Thursday, January 31, 2013 after a long, hard fought battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife, Teri March; three children, Janette C. Harris, Pamela M. Olgers and Aaron M. March; 4 grandsons and 1 granddaughter; two step children, Sean P. O’Hara and Megan L. O’Hara; 2 step grandchildren; 4 brothers and a sister; a mother in law and 2 brothers in law.
Mr. March was an Electronics Technician/Calibration Coordinator, working as a civilian employee for the Federal Government.
The family will receive friends 4:30 to 6 p.m. Saturday at the Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Rd., where a service will follow at 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the John E. March Benefit Account, c/o Wells Fargo Bank, Parham and Fargo Rds.
