PARSLEY, Joseph Melvin, 83, of Richmond went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, February 11, 2015. He was preceded in death by his wife Grace B. Parsley. He is survived by his children, Grace Lynne Alphin, Centerville, Va., Melanie Lynne Bryant (Clayton), Shawn Melvin Parsley (Tammy); grandchildren, Ian William and Sean Robert Alphin, Conner Braxton and Jordan Wallace Parsley. Melvin was an Air Force veteran and a member of the Masonic Lodge of Va. He retired from I.R. International after over thirty years of service. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8pm Friday, February 13, 2015 at the Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Rd.
