I still miss you so much that sometimes I still can't believe you are gone. Just to have one more conversation with you and to listen to your advise that you always give me. You will always be in my heart love you dear friend.

I had the privilege of working with Josh as a student during his clinical rotations in the last year of his graduate program. I wanted to share what a joy it was to work with someone who had a passion for knowledge and such a warm heart. He was exceptional with all of the patients he interacted with in our program. It was an honor to be a part of his journey to become a physical therapist. I feel I can speak on behalf of the nurses, therapists and doctor on our team in Williamsburg, VA that we are truly saddened by this sudden loss. To Anna and Josh's family, please know you are all in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Joshua, 
Not only my best friend but the most amazing big brother anyone could ask for. We shared a room and many years together but now our journey together has come to a bitter end.I will live on and carry you in my heart in everything I do and regardless of this tragic event you will always be my big brother. I love you with all I am and may you find eternal peace in the arms of the savior you taught me to love.

Such a warm and terrific person. It is so very hard to understand any of this. We have to trust in the Lord and draw strength for him. Joshua will be truly missed.

One of the hardest things to come to terms with is the fact that Joshua, the bright star and head of a generation in the Lumala legacy is no more. This was a tragedy, a complete robbery of a wonderful, thoughtful , loving and visionary young man.Everytime I put my mind to this fact regardless of where I am, I run emotional.
In Joshua, I always saw a leader of a generation to propell the Dombo Lumala legacy. The death of Joshua has surely left a lot of unanswered questions which only God can help us understand. 
To Moses our dear elder brother a lot must be crossing your mind but my prayer is that the Lord you have always loved and served comforts you and the entire family during this trying time. It is very heavy for us as a family.
My very recent fellowship with Joshua and the entire family in July last year left a lot of fond memories.
Let us continue to pray and trust in God because he it is the  only way our dear parents Abiathar and Eseza showed us.
May God Almighty Rest the Soul of Joshua in Eternal Peace and continue to comfort Moses and Family.

I am very shocked and saddened to hear of Dr's passing! i just found about him and his passing just a few hours ago and i am deeply deeply sorry..
May the the Almighty God comfort Anna ,his parents and the rest of the family in this very difficult time and May God rest Joshua's soul in Eternal peace.

Suddenly our life was touched by the loss of a beautiful person, a stranger that died in front of our home on Kings Hwy.  in Stafford, Rt. 3 East.  All that could be done was done, but Joshua was in heaven before he realized he was gone??? He must have been a wonderful man, already having earned his PhD. I wish I knew more about him and his family, was he married with children, what he studied and his field of interest??. Joshua, the towering giant of the Lumala family, the ever smiling diplomat, the conqueror of human hearts, the role model, the pace setter, the PHD holder in the Lumala family... you have gone so soon.
