RICKETTS, Juanita E., passed away peacefully on March 3, 2018. She joins her husband, Bernard Ricketts Sr. Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Bernard Ricketts Jr. (Glenda) and John Ricketts; grandchildren, Ashley Riccio (Ricky), Lauren Morris (Jamie), Emily Guynn (Jack), Elizabeth Ricketts, Karen Ricketts and Owen Ricketts (Priscilla); six great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and several special friends who frequently provided compassion and assistance. Juanita loved gardening, quilting and sewing. She was a devoted and loving wife and mother, who enjoyed the accomplishments and developments of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She retired as a nurse in a local pediatrician's office. As a member of Monument Heights Baptist Church, she spent many hours enjoying literature with audio books and CDs kindly provided by the church and State of Virginia. A visitation will be held on Friday, March 9, 2018, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Woody Funeral Home, Parham Chapel. Burial will be in Westhampton Memorial Park on Saturday March 10, 2018, at 1 p.m.
