Kathryn Portewig Gleason

Kathryn "Kaki" Portewig Gleason, 98, of Richmond, went to be with the Lord on January 24, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband Herbert Carl Gleason; and her parents, William and Rozilla Portewig. She is survived by her son, Michael P. Gleason; step grandson, Ryland Kuper and his daughter Elaina. She was a lifelong member of Ridge Baptist Church. She loved to cook and entertain family and friends. Spending time in her garden and enjoying all varieties fo flowers was a passion. Her favorite holiday was Christmas when she decorated her home for family and friends to enjoy. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm, on Wednesday, January 28, 2015, at the Parham Chapel of Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N Parham Rd, Richmond, Va 23229. Services will be held at 11am, on Thursday, January 29, 2015, at Ridge Baptist Church, 1515 Eastridge Rd, Henrico, Va. Interment Riverview Cemetery.
