Lewis Fountain Mitchell Jr. a loving husband and father, passed away peacefully on July 31, 2016, at Martha Jefferson Hospital surrounded by loving family and friends. He was born January 29, 1939. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn; and seven children, Dean Mitchell, Wendy (Dick) Stout, Corey (Jenny) Mitchell, Amber (Kevin) Rowland, Cameron (Carla) Mitchell, Amy Myers, Kristy (James) Donahue. He was a loving papa to 14 grandchildren and one great-grandson. He is also survived by his sisters, Martha (Clyde) Chalkley, Francis Shumaker; and brother, Wyatt (Nikki) Mitchell. A visitation will be held on Friday, August 5, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Woody Funeral Home, Parham Chapel, 1771 Parham Rd., Richmond, Va. 23229. A memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 6, 2016, in the Woody Parham Chapel.
