Marie Sprouse Higgs, 92, of Bon Air, Va., widow of Charles C. Higgs, Sr., departed this life January 13, 2013. She is survived by two daughters, Joan Pasco of Florida, and Jayne Rich of Chesterfield, Va.; son, Charles Higgs, Jr., of Manakin-Sabot, Va.; 9 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; sister, Vera Mae Duke; and a faithful companion, Mable Dickerson.
