Marilyn Bieler, born and raised in Richmond, and recently returned here from upstate New York, died on December 17th. Marilyn returned here to live in the house she grew up in, the home of her late, much loved parents, Elwyn and Betty Perham. Marilyn was a family person. She loved her parents, and her sisters Lucy, Andy and Evelyn, as much as anyone has ever loved family. She often spoke of childhood trips, family Christmases. She brought the lovely doll house, that her parents had made for the girls, back to Richmond from New York State. Besides her birth family, Marilyn also dearly loved her devoted husband Steve and the many kitties they share in their 53 years together. She is survived by her husband Steve, her sisters Evelyn and Andy, and nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Monday, December 23, 2019, at the Woody Funeral Home on Parham road from 5p.m to 7:00 p.m. A private graveside service will take at Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
