Mrs. Mary Katherine Robinson

ROBINSON, Mary Katherine, of Richmond, Va., very peacefully passed away at Commonwealth Assisted Living of Virginia on Friday, August 14, 2015 at the age of 95. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edgar Robinson. Survivors include three devoted daughters, Brenda Bedea of Maryland, Betty Jo Snow of Ft. Worth, Texas and Robin Leighty of Richmond. She is also survived by sister, Elizabeth Jones of Richmond; brother, Louis Carter of Richmond and David Carter of Florida; beloved grandchildren, Christopher Bedea, Stephanie Angell, Whitney Mann, Michael Snow and Susan Burch; beloved great-grandchildren, Billy Burch, Cassidy Burch, Kamilla Bedea, Aaron Snow and Andrew Snow. Her funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 19, at The Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Rd., Richmond, Va. 23229. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, August 18. Burial will follow in Signal Hill Memorial Park, Hanover, Va. Throughout her long life, Katherine was an inspiration to many because of her strength, determination and ability to carry on. Sharp-witted with twinkling, mischievous eyes to the very end! And, oh, what a Mom she was!
