Morris Richard Ball

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilma P. and Leon M. Ball and his brother, Sidney W. Ball. He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Delores P. Ball, sister Myra J. Bugbee and husband Roger Hirschbein; his son, Evan C. Ball and fiancé Kacey Herndon and soon to arrive grandson, Jayden Thomas. He is also survived by three stepchildren, Lori White and husband Levin, Parish Hebb and wife Anna and John Hebb and wife Linda as well as many special grandchildren.

He was a member of West End Assembly of God and spent his career as an accomplished trim carpenter and business owner. He attended Ferrum College. Morris will be remembered for his quick wit and knowledge about trivia.

His family will receive friends Thursday, June 16 at the Parham Chapel of the Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N Parham Rd Richmond VA from 6-8:00 PM Funeral Service will be held at West End Assembly of God Friday, June 17 at 1:00 PM. Interment Westhampton Memorial Park.

His family would like to offer their sincere thanks to the CIC Unit at Chippenham Hospital – they gave the utmost care to Morris and respect for the family .
