Phyllis Ruth (Sledd) Headley, 94, passed away on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 just one week before her 95th birthday. She was predeceased by her husband Herbert H. Headley and son, David Wayne Headley. She was also predeceased by her sisters and brother and their spouses including Frances Ford (Oscar), Anne Traylor (Charlie), and Barbara Osborne (James) and Frank M. Sledd, Jr. (Shirley) She is survived by several nieces and nephews and their families. Her niece Diana would like to extend a special thank you to all the caregivers and staff at The Harmony Collection at Hanover and A Touch of Grace Hospice for their compassionate care including a very special thanks to Samantha (Sam), Nene, Melissa, Tammy, Donna B., Judy and her beloved Danielle. (“Darnell”) The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00pm on Monday, September 15, 2025 at Woody Funeral Home at 1717 N. Parham Road where funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at 11am in the Chapel. Interment will follow at Westhampton Memorial Park.
