Cross, Richard Holladay, 90, died April 13, 2013 from complications of a stroke. Son of the late T. Frank Cross and Pocahontas H. Cross of Glen Allen. Survived by his wife of 69 years, Frances Elaine Mahaley Cross; his children, Brenda C. Jones (Richard), Richard M. Cross (Sallie) and Debra C. Eib (Chris); his grandchildren, R. Michael Cross (Liliana), Elizabeth M. C. Jakesch (Simon), C. Shawn Eib (Millicent) and Jason N. Eib; and his two great-grandchildren, Diego M. Cross and Pippin K. Jakesch. Retired after 35 years with Reynolds Metals Co., Dick had proudly served in the Navy during WWII at Normandy on D-Day and in the Pacific. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Tuesday, April 16th at the Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Rd. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 17th at First English Lutheran Church, 1603 Monument Ave., his church of 69 years. Interment will follow at Westhampton Memorial Park.
