He married Sheila Cohen, on January 27th, 1963. Sam began working for Xerox in New York City in 1963, which led the family to their home in Richmond in 1979. He worked for Xerox until he retired in 1999. While Sam enjoyed many things, he most of all loved being with his family. Whether it was a small gathering with his immediate family, or a larger gathering with his extended family, nothing gave him more joy than time spent with those he loved.
