Samuel A. Smith Jr.

Samuel A. Smith was called from labor to rest on November 26, 2021. He was born in Richmond, VA on September 10, 1948. He was predeceased by his parents, Samuel A. Smith., Sr. and Mary Flannagan and one brother, Ted Smith. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 36 years, Bobbie Terry Smith; one son, Stephen Smith; a daughter, Sarah Campbell; a granddaughter, Samantha Smith; and one brother, Tim H. Smith. Sam was involved in many community service organizations including Life Member of Goochland Fire Rescue. He served in the United States Marine Corps, 2nd Marine Air Wing stationed at Marine Corp Air Station, Beaufort, SC during the Vietnam War. Sam was also a Master Mason and member of DeWitt Clinton Lodge #141. Sam was a member of The Goochland Rotary Club for more than 25 years with perfect attendance.
