Shirley Marie Luck Wright, 83, of Richmond born April 1, 1942, departed this life on June 7, 2025. She was predeceased by her husband, Bill Wright and grandson, Robert Dalton. She is survived by daughter, Patsy Wright Little, son, Douglas Wright, daughter-in-law, Wanda & sister-in-law, Jesse Harper. She treasured her grandchildren. Taylor Little, Ann Clark Coyle & her wife Lexie, Carter Watts & her husband Josiah, Garrison Wright & his wife Lindsey. Cherished her great-grandchildren Paislee, Ellie, Jacob, Demetri & Baby Girl Wright. Shirley worked at Aetna Life & Casualty for 33 years where she mentored many women and men in their careers. Once retired, she traveled, exercised, attended sporting events & interests of her grandchildren near and far in any kind of weather.
Visitation will be held at Woody’s Funeral Home Parham, June 17 5:00-7:30 p.m. & June 18 Good Shepherd UMC, 12:00-12:45. Service following at 1:00 p.m. Interment immediately following at Westhampton Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Good Shepherd United Methodist Church.
