Virginia Farrow Curtis

CURTIS, Virginia F. "Betty," 81, of Manakin-Sabot, Va., went to be with the Lord, Friday, August 19, 2011. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Andrew R. Curtis; her son, Andrew R. Curtis Jr. and his wife, Sherry, of Williamsburg, Va.; her daughter, Debra L. Curtis of Manakin-Sabot, Va.; grandchildren, Kaitlyn L. and Andrew H. Curtis of Williamsburg, Va.; her sister, Dorothy Clayton of Alpine, Calif.; along with her niece, Carol Clayton of Texas; and nephews, Robert Clayton of England and Pete Clayton of California. She was the owner and president of Curtis Contracting, Inc. of West Point, Va. She was a member of St. Matthew's United Methodist Church in Manakin-Sabot, Va. Betty was a devoted wife, loving mother, and loyal friend, who was well loved and will be greatly missed by all. The family will receive friends from 12 noon to 1 p.m. Friday, August 26, 2011 at the Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Rd., Richmond, Va., with a memorial service beginning at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park, Chester, Va., at 2:45 p.m. Condolences
