He was preceded in death by his beloved wife “Val” Marian J. Neal his perfect dance partner. He was survived by his son Robert “Bob” Neal his wife M. Taylor Baker-Neal; grandchildren, Marian “Danni” Neal and William “Carter” Neal; his sister Cathon N. Marshall and her family.
Mr. Neal was a graduate of Wake Forest and served in the Air Force during the Korean War. He settled in Richmond with a career at Virginia Mutual Ins. Co.
A private family service will be held at Westhampton Memorial Park.
