William Barricklo Slater III, of Hanover, VA passed away on Monday, February 29, 2016 after a brief illness. William was born in Richmond, VA on June 25, 1956, to William Barricklo Slater, Jr and Barbara Jane Brauer Slater. William had an infectious personality, and great numerical skills. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends during coffee socials, dining at his favorite restaurants, listening to classical music, and was a member of the Four Seasons Self Advocacy group.. He leaves to cherish his memory his sister, Laura Slater; long time friend, Yvonne Fox; a host of family/friends at Richmond Residential Services where he lived for over 20 years. He also leaves to cherish his memory friends at A Grace Place. His service will be March 7, 2016 at 1pm at Forest Lawn cemetery, 4000 Pilots Lane, Richmond, VA 23222.
