Dalton Paul Rader

Dalton Paul Rader, age 22, passed away on Friday, March 15, 2013 at his home in Madison, MS. Services will be held at Saint Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Madison, MS on Friday, March 22, 2013 at 1:00 PM with visitation at the church two hours prior to the service. Burial will be at Parkway Memorial Cemetery.

Dalton Rader was born in Flowood, MS on July 27, 1990 to Barclay D. and Jan M. Rader. He graduated from Madison Ridgeland Academy in 2009. Dalton enjoyed all sports, especially baseball. Barclay coached Dalton in baseball for years. His baseball team traveled to Cooperstown, NY for a tournament when Dalton was playing select ball. This was one of his and Barclay’s favorite baseball memories. He enjoyed life to the fullest and his favorite times were spent with his many friends. He was a caring son, brother and friend. Dalton left a lasting impression on every person he met with his sense of humor and his devotion to his family. He was greatly loved and will be missed by all the people who were part of his life.

Dalton was preceded in death by his beloved “Pops”, Barclay D. Rader and his grandparents, Charles B. and Kathleen Y. Mitchell and grandfather, T.C. Rader. Survivors include his mother, Jan M. Rader and his brother, Devin M. Rader. Other survivors include his grandmother, Marge Rader; aunts and uncles, Nancy Gunn (Lundy), Karen Mitchell, Debbie Lankford (Dick), Connell Rader, Gregory Rader (Welissa), and Teresa Harbour (Ricky) as well as numerous other friends and family.
