Dolores Hughes Grafton, 89, died Friday July 5, 2013 at Hospice Ministries. Graveside services will be held 3:00pm Tuesday July 9, 2013 at the Wintergreen Cemetery, Port Gibson, MS. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10:00am till 11:00am at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home Highland Colony.
Dolores was born Nov. 30, 1923. Her parents were John and Kathryn Allen Hughes. She graduated from Port Gibson High School in 1942 then moving to Jackson, MS. She worked for the City of Jackson as a clerk then moved to the Hinds County Chancery Clerk’s office where she retired from. She was married to Webb O. Grafton Feb. 4, 1949 whom preceded her in death in 1994. She was active in the North Park Presbyterian Church and an avid bridge player.
Survived by a sister Vivian McBride Farmer of Vicksburg, MS. and numerous nieces and nephews also survive. The family would like to give special thanks the Staff at Hospice Ministries
