A family graveside service will be held at Parkway Memorial Cemetery, Highland Colony Parkway, Ridgeland, Mississippi.
Doris was a native of Meridian, Mississippi and graduated from Meridian High School. After graduation she attended Bible College in California. Doris moved to Jackson in 1973 and was a longtime member of First Baptist Church, Jackson, Mississippi. Doris had a great career working in the Administration office of the Mississippi Baptist Hospital, Jackson, Mississippi and as Manager of the Gift Shop of the Mississippi Baptist Hospital for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Calvin Christian and two sisters. She is survived by her daughters, Linda Davis (Kirk) of Tampa, Florida, Laurie Braun (John) of Castle Rock, Colorado, her son Cal Christian (Kay) of Greenville, North Carolina; grandchildren, Brian Davis, Anna Davis Foley, Jonathan Braun, Lauren Braun Penner, Melissa Braun, Sarah Christian Hudson, Conner Christian; great grandchildren, Emma Davis, Ethan Davis, Luka Hudson and Hayes Hudson.
