He was honorably discharged from the Marine Corp in 1970. Ed retired from the State of Mississippi after 32 years as an IT director with the departments of Public Safety, Wildlife Fisheries and Parks, and Mental Health. After retiring he started CPSI with his partner Roy Clark.
Over the past 10 years he has faithfully served Circle Lodge 638 of the Masonic Order in Madison, MS. He was a past master and received Worshipful Master of the Year in 2007 and then served as secretary over the last 6 years.
Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 P.M. on Sunday, October 12, 2014 and 10:00-11:00 A.M. on Monday , October 13 at Parkway Funeral Home on Highland Colony in Ridgeland. The service will begin at 11:00 A.M with burial following at Flora City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Madison Ridgeland Academy Development Fund or Madison United Methodist Church Music Department.
