Tommy was born on July 27, 1951 to George William Covington and Mary Lucille Tucker Covington in Jackson, Mississippi. He was a member of First United Methodist Church Ridgeland.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Patricia Collins.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Lena Beth Covington; sister, Mary Helen Walden; nieces, Michele Walden-Doppke (Chris), and Lisa Walden (Ryan Barber); as well as numerous cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at 11:00 am at First United Methodist Church Ridgeland with visitation one hour prior.
