Hazel Lundstrom Martin, 100, was received into the arms of her Lord and Savior at 8:15AM Sunday, September 5, 2010 at The Arbor in Ridgeland. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30AM Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at Colonial Heights Baptist Church in Ridgeland. Visitation will be held tonight from 5-7 PM at Wright and Ferguson Parkway Funeral Home in Ridgeland and also one hour prior to the service at the church Tuesday.
Hazel was a member of Colonial Heights Baptist Church where she was very active in the Mike Gladney’s Life Group Sunday School Class whom she loved very much. She was a member of numerous professional and civic organizations and was very active until 3 weeks prior to her death.
She is survived by her daughter, Dr. Sharron Herring and husband Col. John Herring, USAF retiree; son, Jim Lundstrom and wife Anne; brother, Eugene S. Roberts, Jr and wife Chris; sister, Barbara Miley and husband Harold; grandchildren, Ralph Lundstrom, Johnny Lundstrom, Jamie Lundstrom, Debbie Lundstrom, Jim Bradshaw, Sam Bradshaw, and Sharolynn Bradshaw; 12 great grandchildren and 13 great great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Colonial Heights Baptist Church building fund.
